Just let Cyndi know – looking for more volunteers always!
Looks like the 50th Anniversary reunion will be back in Oklahoma!
Of the 60 eligible voters we had 46 participate. Results are as follows:

Hello Family!
Its time! We need to book a location ASAP because spaces are limited and renting out quickly.
Please vote on your choice of location via the online survey by 2/3/19. Open to all the first cousins and original brother and sisters, along with their spouses. Voting will be
closed on 2/3/19 and will not be extended.
Sorry, the survey has ended – results will be shared soon.
Hello Family!
Happy New Year! Here is the latest update on the 2020 50th Reunion.
We need to book a location ASAP because spaces are limited and renting out quickly. At the first meeting we had said were would be voting for next location Oct 31st. That deadline was extended so the people who volunteered to find locations had a little bit more time. The volunteers have found it difficult to find a cost effective places that could meet our needs and time frame.
We will be sending out an online survey to vote on location by 1/27/19 to all the first cousins and original brother and sisters, along with their spouses. Each first cousin gets one vote. Voting will be closed on 2/3/19 and will not be extended.
Here is the information we have received on location options to review prior to the survey:
Our choices are a campground/retreat center bunk housing, that does not allow alcohol on the grounds or smoking in the buildings. We have only a few weeks left to choose from if we want these locations. They can only accommodate us in early May and early August in 2020 as of this email. All of the bible camps/retreat centers were around $50/day/person for food and lodging with the cheapest lodging accommodations.
Homes around Lindsay can accommodate about 60 people. New Hotel rents for $148/night. RV rental for 1 week is around $20/night. Using Lindsay Homes and RV’s, catered evening meals, and simple light lunch meals, the cost is about $30/person per night.
We have not received any dollar amounts from Oaks. Cecilia at Lamore said that there is a restaurant that caters, and a large enough building that can be used for games. She did not have any costs except that meals would probably be $10/meal if catered.
We are not aware of any funds left from the last reunion therefore costs do not reflect the use of any current reunion funds, if available.
If anyone has any other information to be added please send it to us ASAP!!
Thank you!
